*Tonight is the 2017 David Jones Autumn Winter Fashion Show, and we just headed backstage to preview the beauty looks, and they were nothing short of amazing. *

The retail giant has its usual ambassadors Jesinta Franklin (nee Campbell) and Jessica Gomez on the catwalk, but the real draw card is international model Karlie Kloss. The hair was sleek, with an arrow straight center part and two tiny twists, taken from the front and secured in the back with a tiny elastic. Aveda’s creative Director Terri Robertson-Kirkwood explains the style is “slick and shiny on the crown moving to a more natural loose texture”. Aveda’s Brilliant Retexturing Gel was used to keep the models hair in place at the roots.

Makeup was a steely-grey smoky eye, bare skin and a nude lip, crafted by the maestros at Napoleon Perdis. The beauty look was designed to complement the campaign theme ‘Live Outside The Seasons’, crafting a look that can withstand rain, hail or shine.
