Lucy Hale has been giving us major hair envy all year round: from honey-painted strands to her trendy lob and bangs, we’ve been fixated over the actress' ever-changing tresses.
Now, the Pretty Little Liars star has gone back to her darker roots and opted for a shorter ‘do. Lucy's hairstylist, Kristin Ess, revealed that the dramatic transformation is for a new upcoming role – no word yet though on what the new gig is.

As you've probably noticed, the actress is a big fan of switching things up when it comes to her cut and colour – and never sticks with the same style for too long. So we're predicting that a return to her lighter self will be on the cards soon.
